Nevada’s Only Simulated Underground Mine Experience
Our Mission is to educate and inspire Nevada's students and public through education, meaningful interactive experiences, and connections to real world mining opportunities.
Our Exhibits
A 5100 square foot realistic model of a historic underground mine. Dedicated in 1996, it is the only simulated underground mine of its kind in the state.
Our facility grounds mimic and showcase a wide spectrum of historical mining technology and techniques.
Located on our 1.4 acre grounds, the visitor's center hosts office space, our interactive classroom, and a collection of educational exhibits and mining artifacts.

Reservations for field trips may be made up to 12 months in advance. The maximum number of participants per guided tour date reserved is 42.
We are open to the general public on select Saturdays throughout the year, typically the first Saturday of each month
Our unique grounds are a one-of-a-kind location for private events such as birthday parties, weddings, photo sessions, corporate events and special gatherings.
