McCaw School of Mines Foundation Launches STEAM Career Pathways Program, Connecting Students to Careers in Modern Mining
Pilot event brings students, educators, and industry leaders together to reshape how young people see the mining industry
HENDERSON, Nev. On Friday, November 6, 2026, the McCaw School of Mines Foundation will host the pilot event of its new STEAM Career Pathways Program, a full-day gathering designed to connect students with career opportunities in the modern mining industry. The event will take place at the McCaw School of Mines, 57 Lynn Lane, Henderson, Nevada, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The program is expected to draw hundreds of participants ages 17 to 25.
Organized by the McCaw School of Mines Foundation, the event brings together industry professionals, educators, and community partners in an interactive setting built to go well beyond a traditional job fair. Partners include the City of Henderson, College of Southern…
